2017 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium (IUS) was held in Washington DC, USA, from September 6-9, 2017. The conference has served for many years as an outstanding forum for scientists and engineers to present new technologies and learn about recent advances in medical and industry ultrasound.

Dr. Xiang Li, Chief Scientist of ALS, gave a presentation with the title of “Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) Imaging Reaching 100 MHz”, showing the comparable resolution performance to Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).

As an exhibitor and Bronze Sponsor of the conference, ALS exhibited high-end ultrasound probes, including single crystal curved array, single crystal phased array, high frequency composite linear array, and high-frequency intravascular ultrasound catheter, which recevied great interests from the conference attendees.
